BASIC SCRIPTURE 13th July 2024 With Prayers and Declarations For Today
Acts 14:19-25 (KJV): 19. And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead. 20. Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe. 21. And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, 22. Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. 23. And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed. 24. And after they had passed throughout Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia. 25. And when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down into Attalia.

Prayers:
- Heavenly Father, I pray for resilience and strength in the face of opposition and persecution, just as Paul endured being stoned and left for dead. Grant me the courage to persevere in my faith despite challenges.
- Lord, like the disciples who surrounded Paul and witnessed his miraculous recovery, surround me with supportive and faithful friends who will stand by me in times of trial and difficulty.
- Father, I ask for boldness and determination to continue preaching the gospel, even in the midst of adversity. Help me to proclaim Your Word with conviction and love, regardless of opposition.
- Lord, as Paul and Barnabas traveled to Derbe and preached the gospel, I pray for open doors and divine opportunities to share Your message of salvation wherever I go.
- Heavenly Father, strengthen my faith and the faith of those around me. May we be rooted and grounded in Your Word, continuing steadfastly in the faith despite the challenges we may face.
- Lord, I pray for the establishment and strengthening of churches and fellowships, just as Paul and Barnabas ordained elders in every church they visited. Pour out Your Spirit upon Your people and raise up godly leaders.
- Father, I commit myself and my fellow believers into Your hands. As Paul and Barnabas commended the disciples to the Lord in prayer and fasting, I pray that You would watch over us, protect us, and guide us in Your will.
- Lord, grant me a heart of obedience and surrender, willing to go wherever You lead and do whatever You ask of me, just as Paul and Barnabas faithfully preached Your Word in Pisidia, Pamphylia, Perga, and Attalia.
Declarations:
- I declare that I am resilient and strong in the Lord. I will not be discouraged by opposition or persecution, but I will continue to stand firm in my faith.
- I declare that I am surrounded by supportive and faithful friends who strengthen and encourage me in my journey of faith. Together, we will witness and experience the miraculous power of God.
- I declare that I have boldness and courage to proclaim the gospel fearlessly. I will speak the truth in love, knowing that God’s Word is powerful and life-changing.
- I declare that divine opportunities and open doors are before me. I will boldly seize every opportunity to share the message of salvation and redemption with those around me.
- I declare that my faith is steadfast and unwavering. I am rooted and grounded in God’s Word, and I will continue to grow stronger in my faith despite the challenges that may come.
- I declare that churches and fellowships are being established and strengthened in my community and beyond. God is raising up godly leaders and pouring out His Spirit upon His people.
- I declare that I am committed to prayer and fasting, seeking God’s will and guidance for my life and the lives of those around me. I trust in the Lord’s provision and protection over me.
- I declare that I am obedient and surrendered to God’s will. I will go wherever He leads me and do whatever He asks of me, knowing that His plans for me are good and His purposes will prevail.
