2 Chronicles 20:20-22 (KJV)
20. And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
21. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.
22. And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
Exodus 14:13-21 (KJV)
13. And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14. The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
15. And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:
16. But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
17. And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
18. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
19. And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
20. And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
21. And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

Reflection, Prayers, and Declarations
Reflection:
Both passages highlight the power of faith and obedience in the face of overwhelming challenges. In 2 Chronicles, praise was the weapon that secured Judah’s victory, while in Exodus, Moses’ obedience to God’s command opened the Red Sea. These scriptures remind us that God is always fighting for His people and that our trust in Him can move mountains.
Prayers:
- Lord, I thank You for the assurance that You are always with me, fighting my battles. Strengthen my faith to trust You completely, even in difficult times.
- Father, as I praise You in the beauty of holiness, let Your power go ahead of me and secure my victory over every challenge in my life.
- Lord, just as You made a way in the Red Sea for Israel, I pray that You will create pathways of escape and breakthrough for me in every impossible situation.
- Almighty God, set ambushments against every enemy of my progress, and let Your glory be revealed in my life.
- Thank You, Lord, for being my salvation and my deliverer. I declare that I will not fear, but I will stand still and see Your mighty hand at work.
Daily Declarations:
- I declare that I am established in the Lord and prosper through His Word and His prophets.
- I will praise the Lord in all circumstances, and His mercy will endure forever in my life.
- I proclaim that the Lord fights for me, and I am victorious in every battle.
- By faith, I will walk through every obstacle as God makes a way where there seems to be no way.
- The light of God surrounds me, and no enemy can come near me. I move forward boldly into the blessings God has prepared for me.
