BASIC SCRIPTURES: Psalm 130:1-8 (KJV)

1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3 If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
5 I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
7 Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

Isaiah 49:15-16 (KJV)

15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

PRAYER BASED ON PSALM 130:1-8 & ISAIAH 49:15-16

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your Word, which speaks directly to the depths of my heart and reminds me of Your unfailing love. Lord, I come before You today with honesty and humility, crying out to You from the depths of my soul. Hear my voice, O Lord, and be attentive to my supplications.

Forgive me for the times I have fallen short or allowed sin to weigh me down. Thank You for Your mercy, which covers all my iniquities. Help me to fear You—not out of dread, but out of awe for Your holiness, grace, and forgiveness.

Father, teach me to wait patiently on You, trusting in Your perfect timing and promises. Like the psalmist, I declare that my soul waits for You more than those who watch for the morning light. Strengthen my hope in Your Word, knowing that You are faithful to fulfill all that You have spoken.

Lord, remind me daily that I am engraved on the palms of Your hands. Your love for me is deeper and more enduring than any human bond. Even when I feel forgotten or overwhelmed, help me to cling to the truth that You see me, know me, and will never leave me.

Fill me with confidence in Your redemption, knowing that You are able to deliver me from all my sins and struggles. As I hope in You, may my life reflect Your mercy and grace to others.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
