Basic Scriptures for 12 November 2025 (KJV)

ISAIAH 41:8-16
8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

1 KINGS 19:1-18
*(Key focus on verses 3-4, 11-12, 15-18)*
3 And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beer-sheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.
4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:
12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

15 And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria:
16 And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room.
17 And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay.
18 Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

Prayer Points (KJV-Inspired)

  1. Prayer of Identity and Security:

    • O Lord my God, I thank thee that I am chosen, called, and not cast away. I stand upon thy word that declares me thy servant and thy friend, in the name of Jesus Christ (Isaiah 41:8-9).

  2. Prayer Against the Spirit of Fear and Despair:

    • Father, as thou didst minister to Elijah in his despair, I command every spirit of fear, intimidation, and depression to flee from me. I receive thy word: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God” (Isaiah 41:10).

  3. Prayer for Divine Upholding:

    • Lord, I call upon thee to uphold me with thy right hand of righteousness. Strengthen my weary heart, fortify my mind, and help me in this season of battle, for without thee I can do nothing (Isaiah 41:10).

  4. Prayer for Vindication over Enemies:

    • According to thy word, let all who are incensed and strive against me be ashamed and confounded. Let their plans against my destiny be as nothing and perish, O Lord my God (Isaiah 41:11-12).

  5. Prayer to Hear God’s Voice in Crisis:

    • Heavenly Father, in the midst of my turmoil and confusion, quiet my soul. Help me to discern thy “still small voice” above the wind, earthquake, and fire of my circumstances. Speak, Lord, for thy servant heareth (1 Kings 19:12).

  6. Prayer for Empowerment for the Task:

    • Lord, make me a “new sharp threshing instrument.” Anoint me to thresh every mountainous obstacle in my life, to beat them small, and to see thy victory manifest for thy glory (Isaiah 41:15).

  7. Prayer for a Renewed Commission and Perspective:

    • Like Elijah, restore my sense of purpose. Show me the “seven thousand” thou hast reserved. Give me my next assignment and the courage to “go, return” to the path thou hast ordained for me (1 Kings 19:15-18).

  2. I DECLARE that I will not fear, for the Lord is with me. I will not be dismayed, for He is my God. He strengthens me, He helps me, He upholds me with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).

  3. I DECLARE that my God holds my right hand and says to me, “Fear not; I will help thee.” Therefore, I am helped! (Isaiah 41:13).

  4. I DECLARE that though I may feel small like a worm, the Lord is my Redeemer and He will make me a sharp, threshing instrument to pulverize every mountain of opposition (Isaiah 41:14-15).

  5. I DECLARE that I am attuned to the still small voice of God. I will not be shaken by the wind, the earthquake, or the fire of life’s crises, for my peace is found in His presence (1 Kings 19:11-12).

  6. I DECLARE that my season of hiding under the juniper tree is over. God is commanding me to “Go, return” to my destiny. I arise in strength and fulfill my divine assignment (1 Kings 19:15).

  7. I DECLARE that I am not alone. God has a remnant of faithful people connected to my purpose. I will rejoice in the Lord and glory in the Holy One of Israel (Isaiah 41:16, 1 Kings 19:18).

In the Mighty and Precious Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
