ISAIAH 50:4
4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.
5 And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.
6 And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.
7 And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.
8 And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

18 Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

Prayer Points (KJV-Inspired)

1. Prayer for a Disciplined Ear:

   • O Lord my God, as thou didst awaken the ear of the prophet morning by morning, I pray for the grace of divine discipline. Waken my ear daily to hear thy voice and receive instruction, that I may be among the learned in thy kingdom (Isaiah 50:4).

2. Prayer for a Timely Tongue:

   • Father, grant me the “tongue of the learned.” Anoint my speech to know how to speak a word in season that will comfort, strengthen, and restore the weary souls you place in my path (Isaiah 50:4).

3. Prayer for Supernatural Sustenance:

   • Lord, I arise and eat from the provision thou hast set before me. As the angel fed Elijah for a journey too great, I receive thy spiritual nourishment and strength for the journey ahead of me (1 Kings 19:7).

   • In the midst of the storms, earthquakes, and fires of life, quiet my soul, O God. Help me to ignore the noise and to wait patiently for the clarity and truth of thy “still small voice” (1 Kings 19:12).

   • Father, destroy the lie of isolation that says “I alone am left.” Open my eyes to see the “seven thousand” faithful ones thou hast reserved for thy purpose. Connect me with thy remnant for encouragement and partnership (1 Kings 19:18).

   • Lord, when I am overwhelmed and request for myself that I might die, send thy angelic help. Minister to my physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and set me back on the path to my “mount of God” (1 Kings 19:4-8).

1. I DECLARE that the Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the learned. I know how to speak a word in season to strengthen the weary, for my mouth is filled with God’s wisdom (Isaiah 50:4).

2. I DECLARE that morning by morning, the Lord wakens my ear to hear as the learned. I am attentive to His guidance and I walk in His daily instruction.

3. I DECLARE that I arise and eat the spiritual food God has provided. The journey ahead is not too great for me, for I go in the strength of that divine sustenance (1 Kings 19:7-8).

4. I DECLARE that I am not moved by the wind, the earthquake, or the fire. My soul is stilled to hear the “still small voice” of God, and in that voice, I find my direction and my peace (1 Kings 19:11-12).

5. I DECLARE that my season of hiding under the juniper tree is over. God is commanding me to “Go, return” to my destiny, and I obey with renewed vigor and a clarified purpose (1 Kings 19:15).

6. I DECLARE that I am not alone. God has a remnant of seven thousand who have not bowed their knee to Baal. I am connected to a company of the faithful, and together we fulfill God’s will (1 Kings 19:18).

7. I DECLARE that the God who sustained Elijah in the wilderness is my sustenance. He turns my point of despair into my point of divine encounter and empowerment.
