DANIEL 1:15-20 (NIV)

15 At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food. 16 So the guard took away their choice food and the wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables instead.
17 To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.
18 At the end of the time set by the king to bring them into his service, the chief official presented them to Nebuchadnezzar. 19 The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king’s service. 20 In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom.

PSALM 37:17-26 (NIV)

17 for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.
18 The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care, and their inheritance will endure forever.
19 In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.
20 But the wicked will perish: Though the Lord’s enemies are like the flowers of the field, they will be consumed, they will go up in smoke.
21 The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously;
22 those the Lord blesses will inherit the land, but those he curses will be destroyed.
23 The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him;
24 though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.
25 I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.
26 They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing.

Prayer Points

1. Prayer for Uncompromising Faith:

   • Heavenly Father, like Daniel and his friends, grant me the courage to stand firm in my convictions. Help me to honor You with my choices, even when it’s difficult or goes against the culture around me.

2. Prayer for Divine Health and Favor:

   • Lord, I pray for Your supernatural sustenance over my life, my family, and my health. As You blessed the Hebrew youths with superior health, bless me and let Your favor be my shield and provision (Psalm 5:12).

3. Prayer for Supernatural Wisdom and Understanding:

   • Father, You gave Daniel and his friends knowledge and skill beyond their training. I ask for that same divine wisdom and understanding in my work, studies, and decisions. Let me excel for Your glory.

4. Prayer for Divine Upholding in Trials:

   • Lord, Your word says You uphold the righteous. In times of disaster or personal famine, uphold me and my household. Let us not wither but enjoy plenty, as promised in Psalm 37.

5. Prayer for Generosity and a Lasting Legacy:

   • God, make me a channel of Your blessing. Help me to be generous and lend freely, trusting that You will never forsake the righteous. Establish the inheritance of my children and let them be a blessing to their generation.

6. Prayer for Deliverance from the Wicked:

   • I pray that the power of any wickedness or opposition against my destiny be broken, in the name of Jesus. Uphold my cause and let Your justice prevail in my life.

Declarations

1. I declare that my commitment to God’s standards will result in visible and undeniable testimony. I am healthier, wiser, and stronger because the Lord is my sustainer.

2. I declare that God is granting me exceptional wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. In my field, I am ten times better than my peers and competitors, not by my power, but by the Spirit of God.

3. I declare that the Lord is making my steps firm. Though I may face challenges, I SHALL NOT FALL, for the Lord upholds me with His righteous right hand.

4. I declare that in times of economic uncertainty or lack, my household and I will enjoy plenty. We are under the Lord’s care, and we will not be forsaken, nor will our children beg for bread.

5. I declare that I am a generous and lending person. The blessings of the Lord are upon me, and I am an inheritor of His promises. My legacy is secure in Christ.

6. I declare that every plan of the enemy against my life is broken. The power of the wicked is shattered, and the Lord upholds my righteous cause. My victory is assured.
