Basic Scripture for 17 November 2025: Joshua 1:1-9 (KJV)

1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying,
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Prayer Points for 17 November 2025

1. Prayer to Arise and Possess: Heavenly Father, as You commanded Joshua to “arise and go over this Jordan,” I receive the grace to arise from every state of stagnation and fear. I pray for the courage to step into the new assignments and territories You have prepared for me, in Jesus’ name.

2. Prayer for the Assurance of God’s Presence: Lord, I hold onto Your promise: “I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” In any situation where I feel alone or overwhelmed, remind me of Your faithful presence. Let this assurance be my anchor and my source of peace today.

3. Prayer for Supernatural Courage: Father, I silence every voice of fear and doubt in my life. I ask for a fresh baptism of Your courage—the kind that faces giants and crosses rivers. As You commanded Joshua three times, I declare that my spirit is strengthened with divine boldness.

4. Prayer for Alignment with God’s Word: Lord, help me to align my life with Your Word. Let it not depart from my mouth; grant me the discipline to meditate on it day and night. Guide my actions, decisions, and thoughts by Your truth, that I may walk in prosperity and good success.

5. Prayer for Victory over Opposition: By the authority in the name of Jesus, I decree that every opposition standing against my destiny is rendered powerless. No weapon, person, or system formed against me shall prosper, for You, Lord, are with me, and You cause me to triumph.

1. I DECLARE that I am crossing over from limitation into my promised land. I am possessing every blessing, opportunity, and territory that God has ordained for my life.

2. I DECLARE that the Lord my God is with me. He will not fail me. He will not forsake me. Therefore, I walk in confidence and divine security all the days of my life.

3. I DECLARE that I am strong and very courageous! I am not afraid of bad news, daunting tasks, or unfamiliar paths. My heart is steady because my trust is in the Lord.

4. I DECLARE that God’s Word is my meditation and my map. It lights my path and guarantees my success. I am prosperous in my soul and successful in my God-given purpose.

5. I DECLARE that I am an overcomer and a possessor of territories. I tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me. My victory is assured in Christ Jesus.
