Basic Scripture for 28 October 2025

BASIC SCRIPTURES:

ROMANS 8:25-30 (KJV)

25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

JEREMIAH 29:11-13 (KJV)

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Prayer Points

  1. Prayer for Patience and Hope in Waiting:

    • Father, in the areas where I only see promises and not yet their fulfillment, grant me the spirit of patience and vibrant hope. Help me to wait expectantly and faithfully for what I do not see, trusting in Your perfect timing. (Romans 8:25)

  2. Prayer for the Holy Spirit’s Intercession:

    • Holy Spirit, I invite You to help my weaknesses in prayer. When I am overwhelmed, confused, or lost for words, take over. Intercede for me with groans that words cannot express, aligning my prayers perfectly with the will of God. (Romans 8:26-27)

  3. Prayer to Believe and See God’s Good Plan:

    • Lord, I choose to believe today that You are sovereignly working all things in my life—the good, the bad, and the confusing—together for my ultimate good and for the fulfillment of Your purpose. Solidify this truth in my heart. (Romans 8:28)

  4. Prayer to be Conformed to Christ’s Image:

    • Heavenly Father, I yield to Your process of transformation. In every circumstance, shape me and mold me to be more like Jesus. Let my character, my reactions, and my love reflect His image. (Romans 8:29)

  5. Prayer to Seek God Wholeheartedly:

    • Lord, as I hold onto Your promise of a hopeful future, I ask for a hunger and thirst for You that consumes me. I declare that I will seek You with all my heart, soul, and mind, confident that as I draw near to You, You will reveal Yourself to me. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

Declarations

  1. I declare that my hope is not in vain. What God has promised, He is able to perform. I wait with patience and confidence, for my expectation is from the Lord.

  3. I declare that ALL things in my life are being woven together by God for my good. Every setback, delay, and trial is a thread in a masterpiece of grace, because I love God and I am called according to His purpose.

  4. I declare that I am being transformed daily. I am not who I used to be. I am being conformed to the glorious image of Jesus Christ, growing in grace, love, and power.

  5. I declare that God’s plans for me are plans of peace and a hopeful future. I will call upon Him and He will answer me. As I seek Him with my whole heart, I will find Him, and I will walk in the good destiny He has prepared for me.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
