BASIC SCRIPTURES:

PSALM 107:17-22 (KJV)

17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
19 Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
21 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

ISAIAH 53:4-5 (KJV)

4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Prayer Points

1. Prayer for Deliverance from Self-Inflicted Affliction:

   • Lord, I cry out to You concerning the troubles and afflictions in my life that are a consequence of my own foolishness, transgression, or sin. Have mercy on me and save me out of my distresses, just as You promise in Your word. (Psalm 107:17-19)

2. Prayer for Healing through God’s Word:

   • Father, You sent Your Word to heal and deliver. I receive Your healing Word now—both the written Scripture and the living Word, Jesus Christ—into my spirit, soul, and body. Let it heal my diseases and deliver me from every path of destruction. (Psalm 107:20)

3. Prayer to Appropriate the Atonement of Christ:

   • Lord Jesus, I thank You that on the cross, You personally bore my griefs (sicknesses) and carried my sorrows (pains). By faith, I receive the full atonement You provided. I declare that Your sacrificial death has purchased my total well-being. (Isaiah 53:4)

4. Prayer for Complete Redemption and Peace:

   • I pray over every area of my life wounded by sin—my own and others’. I declare that You were wounded for my transgressions, bruised for my iniquities. The chastisement required for my peace fell upon You. I receive forgiveness and Your perfect shalom peace now. (Isaiah 53:5a)

5. Prayer for Physical and Wholistic Healing:

   • By the stripes that wounded Jesus—the lashes He took on His back—I am declared healed. I pray this truth over every sickness, every chronic pain, and every infirmity in my body. I claim my divine healing and walk in the reality of it today. (Isaiah 53:5b)

Declarations

1. I declare that when I cry out to God in my trouble, He hears me and saves me from all my distresses. His mercy triumphs over my judgment.

2. I declare that God has sent His Word and healed me. I am delivered from every destructive path, habit, and cycle. My life is preserved for His glory.

3. I declare that Jesus Christ bore my sicknesses and carried my pains. Therefore, I refuse to carry them any longer. I am free from the weight of grief and sorrow.

4. I declare that I am redeemed from the power of sin. Jesus was wounded for my transgressions and bruised for my iniquities. I am forgiven, justified, and made righteous in Him. The punishment for my sin fell on Him, and I walk in His perfect peace.

5. I declare that with the stripes of Jesus, I was and am healed. Healing is my portion and my inheritance. My body aligns with the finished work of the cross, and I walk in divine health and wholeness.

6. I declare a sacrifice of thanksgiving and praise on my lips. I will continually tell of God’s wonderful works in my life, for He is good, and His mercy endures forever.
