Basic Scripture for Today: 14 September 2025

JOHN 11: 33 – 44 (KJV)

33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,
34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
35 Jesus wept.
36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!
37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

Prayer Points:

1. Prayer for Christ’s Compassion: Lord Jesus, just as You were deeply moved by Mary’s tears, see my situation and have compassion on me. Let Your heart of love be stirred over every area of pain and loss in my life. (Based on verses 33, 35).

2. Prayer to Remove the Stone of Hindrance: Father, I command every stone of doubt, fear, unbelief, and obstacle that is sealing my miracle to be rolled away now, in the name of Jesus. (Based on verse 39).

3. Prayer for Faith to See God’s Glory: Lord, I choose to believe Your word over my circumstances. Strengthen my faith, that I may believe and therefore see the glory of God manifest in my life. (Based on verse 40).

4. Prayer of Thanksgiving Before the Breakthrough: Like Jesus, I lift my voice in thanksgiving, knowing that You always hear me. I thank You in advance for the miracle, breakthrough, and resurrection power You are about to release. (Based on verse 41).

5. Prayer to Loose from Bondage: Father, speak life into every dead situation—my health, finances, marriage, and destiny. Command every Lazarus to “come forth!” And I command every grave cloth of limitation, sickness, and poverty to be loosed from me now. (Based on verse 44).

Declarations:

1. I declare that Jesus is deeply moved by my situation. His compassion for me is great, and He is working on my behalf.

2. I declare that every stone of hindrance is rolled away! Every barrier to my miracle is removed by the authority of Jesus Christ.

3. I declare that I will see the glory of God in my life! My faith is not in what I see, but in the unstoppable power of God.

4. I declare a spirit of thanksgiving over my life. I thank God that He has heard my prayer and my victory is assured.

5. I declare “Lazarus, come forth!” over every dead area of my life. I speak life, resurrection, and restoration. I am loosed from every bondage and set free to live in the liberty of Christ!
