30 But God raised Him from the dead.
31 He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people.
32 And we declare to you glad tidings—that promise which was made to the fathers.
33 God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.’
34 “And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus: ‘I will give you the sure mercies of David.’
35 “Therefore He also says in another Psalm: ‘You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.’
36 “For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption;

PRAYER POINTS

1. Thank God for the power of the resurrection that is at work in you today. Declare that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead enlivens your mortal body and circumstances.

2. Pray for grace to be a faithful witness of Christ’s power in your generation, just as the early disciples were. Ask for divine opportunities to share the “glad tidings” with those around you.

3. Proclaim God’s promises over your life and declare that He is faithful to fulfill every one of them, just as He fulfilled the promise of the resurrection.

4. Pray for divine strength and training for the battles you face. Ask the Lord, your Rock, to train your hands for war and your fingers for battle in the spiritual realm.

5. Take refuge in the Lord as your fortress, shield, and deliverer. Declare your trust in Him to subdue every enemy and challenge under your feet.

5. I take refuge in the Lord my fortress. He is my deliverer and my shield. No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every enemy is subdued under my feet.
