BASIC SCRIPTURE: GALATIANS 6: 1- 10
Proverbs 19:15-21 (KJV)
15 Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.
16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.
17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
18 Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.
19 A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.
20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
21 There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.

Prayers and Declarations:
- Deliverance from Slothfulness: Lord, deliver us from slothfulness and idleness. Give us the diligence and discipline to work faithfully, so we may not suffer want.
- Obedience to God’s Commandments: Father, help us to keep Your commandments diligently. May we understand that in doing so, we are preserving our own souls.
- Compassion for the Poor: Lord, grant us hearts full of compassion for the poor. As we extend our hands to help them, let us remember that we are lending unto You and trust in Your promise to repay.
- Discipline and Correction: Father, give us wisdom and courage to discipline and correct our children while there is hope, not sparing them out of misplaced compassion.
- Control over Anger: Lord, help us to control our anger and wrath. Let us not be quick to anger, understanding that great wrath brings punishment.
- Seeking Wise Counsel: Father, open our hearts and minds to receive wise counsel and instruction. Help us to grow in wisdom, especially as we age.
- Submission to God’s Plans: Lord, remind us that while we may have many plans in our hearts, it is Your counsel that will stand. Teach us to seek and submit to Your perfect will.
- Diligent Work Ethic: Father, instill in us a strong work ethic. Let us not fall into the traps of laziness, but be industrious and productive in all our endeavors.
- Life Preservation through Obedience: Lord, let our lives be preserved through obedience to Your Word. May we always walk in Your ways, avoiding the paths that lead to destruction.
- Generosity and Divine Reward: Father, as we show generosity and kindness to those in need, let us be assured of Your divine reward. Strengthen our faith in Your promises.
- Effective Parenting: Lord, grant us wisdom and patience in parenting. Help us to correct our children lovingly and effectively, leading them in the path of righteousness.
- Temperance and Self-Control: Father, teach us temperance and self-control. Let us not be consumed by anger, but approach conflicts with calmness and understanding.
- Receptiveness to Instruction: Lord, make us receptive to godly instruction and guidance. Let us not be stubborn, but willing to learn and grow in wisdom.
- God’s Counsel Above All: Father, let Your counsel prevail in our lives above our own plans and desires. Teach us to trust in Your perfect wisdom and timing.
- Active Compassion: Lord, help us to actively show compassion to those in need. Let our actions reflect Your love and mercy.
- Provision through Obedience: Father, as we obey Your commands, let us experience Your provision and protection in every area of our lives.
- Guidance for the Youth: Lord, guide our youth with Your wisdom. Help them to avoid the pitfalls of life through obedience and respect for godly counsel.
- Wisdom in Parenting: Father, give us the wisdom to raise our children in Your ways. Let us not spare discipline out of fear, but guide them with love and firmness.
- Godly Temperament: Lord, develop in us a godly temperament. Let us be slow to anger and rich in love and patience.
- Lifelong Learning: Father, instill in us a desire for lifelong learning and growth in Your wisdom. Let us never stop seeking Your knowledge and understanding.
- Alignment with Divine Purpose: Lord, align our hearts and minds with Your divine purpose. Let Your counsel guide us in all our decisions and plans.
