BASIC SCRIPTURES: PROVERBS 17: 22; PSALM 30: 1-12
Proverbs 17:22 (KJV)
- A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Psalm 30:1-12 (KJV)
- I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
- O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
- O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
- Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
- For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
- And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
- Lord, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
- I cried to thee, O Lord; and unto the Lord I made supplication.
- What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? Shall it declare thy truth?
- Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord, be thou my helper.
- Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
- To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

Prayers and Declarations:
Prayers:
- Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of joy and a merry heart that brings healing and strength. Help me to cultivate a joyful spirit in all circumstances.
- Lord, I praise You for lifting me up and not allowing my enemies to triumph over me. Thank You for being my protector and deliverer.
- Father, I am grateful for Your healing touch in my life. You have restored my soul and kept me from the pit of despair.
- Lord, I sing praises to You and give thanks for Your holiness and faithfulness. Let my heart always remember Your goodness and grace.
- Heavenly Father, I trust in Your promise that joy comes in the morning after a night of weeping. Help me to hold on to this hope in times of sorrow.
- Lord, in my times of prosperity, remind me that it is by Your favour and strength that I stand. Keep me humble and grateful for Your blessings.
- Father, when I feel troubled and distant from You, draw me back with Your love and mercy. Let Your presence be my comfort and strength.
- Lord, I cry out to You for help and mercy. Hear my supplications and be my helper in times of need.
- Heavenly Father, turn my mourning into dancing and replace my sorrow with gladness. Let my life be a testimony of Your transforming power.
- Lord, let my glory sing praises to You and never be silent. I will give thanks to You forever, for You are my God and my salvation.
Declarations:
- I declare that a merry heart is my portion, bringing healing and strength to my spirit.
- I declare that the Lord is my protector and deliverer, lifting me up and keeping my enemies at bay.
- I declare that the healing touch of God is upon me, restoring my soul and keeping me from despair.
- I declare that I will always sing praises and give thanks to the Lord for His holiness and faithfulness.
- I declare that joy comes in the morning, and I will hold on to this hope during times of weeping.
- I declare that in my prosperity, I will remain humble and grateful, recognizing that it is by God’s favour and strength that I stand.
- I declare that in times of trouble, I will seek the Lord’s presence and find comfort and strength in Him.
- I declare that the Lord hears my cries and is my helper in times of need.
- I declare that God will turn my mourning into dancing and fill my life with gladness.
- I declare that my life will be a testimony of God’s transforming power, and I will sing praises to Him forever.
