NUMBERS 23:20-26 (NKJV)
20 “Behold, I have received a command to bless;
He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.21 “He has not observed iniquity in Jacob,
Nor has He seen wickedness in Israel.
The Lord his God is with him,
And the shout of a King is among them.22 God brings them out of Egypt;
He has strength like a wild ox.23 “For there is no sorcery against Jacob,
Nor any divination against Israel.
It now must be said of Jacob and of Israel,
‘Oh, what God has done!’24 Look, a people rises like a lioness,
And lifts itself up like a lion;
It shall not lie down until it devours the prey,
And drinks the blood of the slain.”25 Then Balak said to Balaam, “Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all!”
26 So Balaam answered and said to Balak, “Did I not tell you, saying, ‘All that the Lord speaks, that I must do’?”
ROMANS 8:31-34 (NKJV)
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

REFLECTION ON THE SCRIPTURES
Today’s scriptures present an unshakable truth from two powerful perspectives: the sovereignty of God in the Old Testament and the finished work of Christ in the New.
In Numbers, we see a pagan prophet, Balaam, hired to curse Israel. Yet, he repeatedly confesses that he is utterly powerless to curse what God has blessed. This is a divine decree of immunity. God had chosen to bless Israel, and no human, spiritual, or occult power could reverse it. It was a settled matter in heaven.
In Romans, the Apostle Paul builds on this foundation with the ultimate proof of God’s favor: the sacrifice of Jesus. The logic is irrefutable: If God gave His greatest treasure (His Son) for us, He will unquestionably provide everything else we need. Furthermore, the work of Christ—His death, resurrection, and current role as our Intercessor—means that no accusation from the enemy or our own past can stand against us. We are not just blessed; we are justified, defended, and represented by Christ Himself.
Together, these passages declare that you are blessed beyond the power of any curse and justified beyond the reach of any accusation because God is for you.

Pray in Affirmation of God’s Decree: “Heavenly Father, I stand on Your sovereign decree. You have commanded my blessing, and I thank You that no weapon, scheme, or word spoken against me can reverse what You have ordained for my life. Your blessing upon me is irreversible.” (Numbers 23:20)
