BASIC SCRIPTURES 4th APRIL 2025 PRAYERS AND DAILY DECLARATIONS

Basic Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:1-10 (KJV)
1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.
6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

- His grace is always enough, even when circumstances feel overwhelming.

- Boasting in our weaknesses invites God’s strength to be displayed through us.
Daily Prayers for April 4th, 2025
1. A Prayer for Humility (Based on 2 Corinthians 12:7)
Heavenly Father, I surrender my pride and desire for self-sufficiency. Teach me to embrace humility and recognize that apart from You, I can do nothing. Use my weaknesses to draw me closer to You and remind me that true strength comes from leaning on Your grace. Amen.
2. A Prayer for Grace in Trials (Based on 2 Corinthians 12:9)
Lord, thank You for promising that Your grace is sufficient for every challenge I face. When I feel overwhelmed by life’s “thorns,” remind me that Your power is perfected in my weakness. Help me trust that You are working all things together for my good and Your glory. Amen.
3. A Prayer for Strength in Vulnerability (Based on 2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
Jesus, I choose to find strength in my vulnerabilities rather than see them as failures. Transform my struggles into testimonies of Your faithfulness. May others witness Your power at work in my life and be drawn to You through my example. Amen.
4. A Prayer Against Discouragement (Based on 2 Corinthians 12:9)
Father, when discouragement tries to creep in because of my limitations or setbacks, remind me that Your grace sustains me. Lift my eyes above my circumstances and fill me with hope and perseverance. Let me walk confidently, knowing that You are with me every step of the way. Amen.
5. A Prayer for Contentment in Weakness (Based on 2 Corinthians 12:10)
Holy Spirit, help me rejoice in my weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties. Teach me to boast only in You and find contentment in who You are, regardless of external conditions. Show me how to glorify You through every trial. Amen.
6. A Prayer for Boldness to Share Testimonies (Based on 2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
Lord, give me boldness to share how Your power has worked through my weaknesses. Let my story inspire others to trust in Your sufficiency and turn their focus toward Your strength rather than their own abilities. Use my life as a vessel to point people to You. Amen.

Closing Thought
On this fourth day of April, remember that God’s grace is always sufficient, no matter the size of your “thorn.” He delights in using our weaknesses to showcase His strength. Rather than striving to appear strong or self-reliant, lean fully into His grace and let Him carry you. Rejoice in your struggles, knowing they are opportunities for God to work mightily in and through you.
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
