“Dwelling in the Secret Place of the Most High”

Psalm 91:1-8 (KJV)
“1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High, shall abide vnder the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge, and my fortresse: my God, in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliuer thee from the snare of the fouler, and from the noysome pestilence.
4 He shall couer thee with his feathers, and vnder his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not bee afraid for the terrour by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day:
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkenesse; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noone day.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand: but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Onely with thine eyes shalt thou behold, and see the reward of the wicked.”

1. Prayer of Total Protection (Psalm 91 Expansion)
*”Almighty and Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth, I come before Your throne of grace this morning with thanksgiving in my heart. I declare with absolute confidence that You are my dwelling place, my eternal refuge, and my mighty fortress. As the deer pants after the water brooks, so my soul longs after You, O Lord. I take shelter under the shadow of Your wings, knowing that no evil can penetrate the secret place where I abide in You.

Father, I plead the blood of Jesus over my life, my family, my home, and all that concerns me. Deliver me completely from every hidden snare the enemy has set, from every assignment of darkness, and from every form of pestilence that walks in destruction. Let Your angels encamp round about me, bearing me up in their hands lest I dash my foot against a stone.

I renounce every spirit of fear, for You have not given me the spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. I shall not be afraid of sudden terror by night, nor of any evil plot by day. Though a thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand, I stand firm on Your promise that it shall not come near my dwelling. I walk in divine health, supernatural protection, and unshakable peace all the days of my life, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!”*

2. Declaration of Righteousness & Divine Favor (Isaiah 3:10 Expansion)
*”Today I boldly declare that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! I am not of this world system but I am a citizen of heaven, called, chosen and faithful. Because I walk in obedience to God’s Word and live a life of holiness, I decree that it is well with me in every area of my life – spiritually, physically, financially, emotionally and mentally.

The Lord is my shepherd and I shall not want. I eat the good of the land because I am a tither and a giver. I enjoy the fruits of my labor because I serve the Lord with gladness. No good thing will God withhold from me because I walk uprightly before Him. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places, yes, I have a goodly heritage.

I declare that my children are taught of the Lord and great is their peace. My home is a sanctuary of God’s presence where angels ascend and descend. My business is blessed and flourishes like a tree planted by the rivers of water. My ministry bears much fruit that remains. I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. Everywhere I go, I experience divine favor – when men see me, they see Christ in me, the hope of glory.

I speak to every mountain of opposition in my life – be removed and cast into the sea! I command every closed door to open immediately by the power of the Holy Ghost. I decree accelerated breakthroughs, supernatural turnarounds and divine appointments today. This is my season of restoration and double portion anointing, in Jesus’ name!”*

3. Prayer of Thanksgiving & Commitment
*”Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word that is forever settled in heaven. Thank You for being my refuge through every storm, my strength in every weakness, and my ever-present help in times of trouble. I’m grateful that You watch over Your Word to perform it in my life.

Today I rededicate myself completely to Your service. Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee. Let every thought, word and action bring glory to Your name. Fill me afresh with Your Holy Spirit that I may walk in power and demonstration of Your kingdom. Help me to be a light in this dark world, pointing many to salvation through Christ.

I commit this day into Your hands. Order my steps in Your Word and let no iniquity have dominion over me. May I be sensitive to Your voice, quick to obey, and faithful in all You’ve entrusted to me. Let Your joy be my strength and Your peace guard my heart all day long. I receive grace for today’s assignments and declare that I’m more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens me.

Bless the Lord O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Hallelujah to the Lamb that was slain! All glory, honor and praise belong to You, Almighty God, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen!”*
