BASIC SCRIPTURES: ISAIAH 54: 14 – 17
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
EXODUS 11:8 – 10
8 And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.
9 And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.

BASIC SCRIPTURES:
Isaiah 54:14-17 (NIV): “In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you. If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you. See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc; no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.”
Exodus 11:8-10 (NIV): “All these officials of yours will come to me, bowing down before me and saying, ‘Go, you and all the people who follow you!’ After that I will leave.” Then Moses, hot with anger, left Pharaoh. The Lord had said to Moses, “Pharaoh will refuse to listen to you—so that my wonders may be multiplied in Egypt.”
Encouragement for the Day:
In these verses from Isaiah and Exodus, we find powerful reassurances and promises from God. Despite the challenges and threats we may face, God assures us of His protection and victory over our enemies.
From Isaiah 54:14-17, we learn that righteousness establishes us securely in God’s promises. The Lord promises to keep tyranny, fear, and terror far from us. Even if adversaries arise, God assures us that they will not succeed against us. No weapon formed against us will prevail, and every accusation against us will be refuted. This is the heritage of those who serve the Lord, and it comes from Him alone.
In Exodus 11:8-10, we witness Moses’ confrontation with Pharaoh, the embodiment of oppressive power. Despite Pharaoh’s stubbornness, God declares that His wonders will be multiplied in Egypt. This serves as a reminder that God’s power is greater than any earthly authority or opposition. He works through even the most challenging circumstances to bring about His purposes and display His glory.
Therefore, let us take heart and stand firm in the promises of God. As we walk in righteousness and trust in His protection, we can face any challenge with confidence, knowing that God is with us and that His victory is assured.
