Today’s devotional emphasis is in vs. 18 of our text! “And he said, ‘I beseech thee, shew me Thy glory.” The Hebrew translated word of ‘GLORY’ is the word ‘KABOD,’ which means weight, substance and imprint! It implies that GLORY carries weight, substance and leaves an imprint wherever and whenever it shows up! Another sentence for “SHOW ME YOUR GLORY” can be: “TAKE ME FROM MOCKERY AND SHAME” because the opposite of GLORY is SHAME! Remember that MOSES had seen the glory of God in various dimensions! When with his ROD he wrought signs and wonders in Egypt, that was glory! When he witnessed the supernatural hand of God that killed all the firstborns in Egypt, that was glory! Oh! When he struck the RED SEA with his rod and a highway emerged, that was glory! In another instance, he struck the Rock in the wilderness and water came forth! Moses himself was a glory carrier! When he came down from Mount Sinai after 40 days and forty nights, the children of Israel could not look at his face because of the glory he carried! They said his face was like the face of God! Ah! So, for such a man to pray, “SHOW ME YOUR GLORY,” he was actually also saying: “I WANT TO SEE A HIGHER DIMENSION OF YOUR PERSON AND YOUR GLORY!” Wow! As 2025 ends and 2026 begins, NEVER GET TO A PLACE IN YOUR LIFE WHERE YOU THINK YOU HAVE ARRIVED! There is more to the glory, blessings, miracles, testimonies, etc, than you have seen. Yes, don’t allow the battles of life make you to grow lazy, lukewarm and settle for average! PRESS ON and Live each day believing that the best is yet to come! Daily Manan Today 19th December 2025
