Someone said, “Experience is good, but I prefer discovery.” While experience teaches in such a hard way, discovery simply opens your knowledge to an existing truth through revelation! What heaven is saying to someone today is: Never delegate your primary responsibilities in life, family and ministry! I just heard of a househelp who took over the matrimonial home of her madam and is today a celebrity where she was once a servant! The facts are that the madam was a very busy banker and had no time to even prepare her husband’s meals. The present wife (former househelp) was all the oga’ (the husband) knew and saw often! The man had complained earnestly that he hated his meals being prepared by the maid, but the wife kept relaxing and working in the office, instead of rushing home. She was so sure oga’s meals would be ready because of the maid. She even forgot that checking the children’s schoolwork is not only the responsibility of the lesson teacher or maid. There is another sister called Rachel (not real name). Her problem was not her job because she was a businesswoman who controlled her time, but her undoing was from church services. She moved from the shop to the church daily! She knew all the deep furrows on her pastor’s face than those on her husband’s face! When she discovered that it wasoga’ (her husband) that was responsible for her housemaid’s pregnancy, she fainted! Please never delegate your primary responsibilities (other secondary responsibilities can be delegated). A man too, must never delegate the responsibility of feeding his family! Ladies, hear this: Even if your housemaid has the `ugly’ face of a horse or the ‘legs of a monkey,’ she can become your waterloo! Anybody can be tempted! Do you know if the housemaid is an agent of darkness? Is she a househelp or a “house hell”? Are they housemaids or house mermaids? Be wise and learn! Did Proverbs 4:7 not say wisdom is the principal thing? Your first duty is your home not the church, job, friends or relatives.
