ODM TOPIC: THEIR CURSES PROVOKE THE BLESSING!

As a covenant child of God, one thing you need to realise is that you are blessed of God and therefore, you cannot be cursed. If you are confident in the blessings of God, the curses and abusive things that people say concerning you will not move you one bit. Our 1st Basic Scripture makes it clear: Vs. 28 – “Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let Thy servant rejoice.” Then Verse 29 says: “Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.” That shall be the portion of any power that opposes your COVENANT WITH GOD THIS YEAR! As they are cursing, God is blessing! LISTEN: When the blessing of the Lord is speaking and working on your behalf, it causes your adversaries to be clothed with shame and confusion! That was the same thing that happened to Pharaoh and his horsemen as they were pursuing the children of Israel.He did not know that he was heading for his own shame and destruction. God parted the Red Sea and as His children were walking through the sea on dry ground, Pharaoh ordered his soldiers to follow. Now, that is foolish. Why would you follow your prey to wherever he is going when you know that you don’t know that place very well? THAT WAS PERFECT CONFUSION! When God is set to bring your enemy to shame and destruction, the first thing He does is to blind his/her mind and prevent them from reasoning sensibly. Consider Pharaoh: He marched his troops into the sea and when they got to the middle of the sea, their chariots got stuck. They couldn’t move forward or backward. The same God who brought shame, confusion and destruction to Pharaoh will bring shame, confusion and destruction to all your adversaries. You will have cause to rejoice again and again because there shall be PERFORMANCE this year!
