It was Harry Crews that said: “There is something beautiful about all scars of whatever nature. A scar means the hurt is over, the wound is healed, done with.” When Jesus Christ rose from the dead, He wasn’t looking for those people that shouted, “Crucify Him…” HE DID NOT HAVE ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM! He wasn’t looking for Pilate or Herod! He did not even bother checking on those soldiers that spat on Him, tore His clothes and gave Him vinegar to drink. As far as He was concerned, IT WAS OVER.THAT WAS HIS PAST! He was looking for His disciples (His future)! Joseph was not looking for Potiphar’s wife when he left prison! He was hurrying to the PALACE! Halleluiah! Halleluiah! The Holy Ghost has told me to announce to you today: “It Is Over! The Hurt Is Over! The Pain Is Over! The Defeat Is Over! Stop Hunting All Over The Place For The Ashes Of The Past! Face The Future! Don’t Be Tempted To Scratch The Scar And Feel The Pain Again! The Past Is Past! Move On.”
Hear the words of Edner Ferber, “Living in the past is a dull lonely business. Looking back strains the neck muscles, causes you to bump into people who are not going your way.” It is time to forget the past and FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR GLORIOUS FUTURE! Value your future, give more attention to it. What you pay attention to determines the direction in which your life will move! Your scars means IT IS OVER! Hold on and keep moving!
