Two times in today’s first scripture, the Holy Spirit declares, “WAIT!” It’s dangerous to run in vain and it’s my prayer that every plot of the enemy to cause you to run in vain in this LAST QUARTER of 2024 will be scattered by fire TODAY in Jesus name. I still hear “WAIT!” There are different kinds of “WAIT” but the kind of “WAIT” that the Lord is talking about in today’s scripture is “WAIT ON THE LORD.” It means to “Wait and stay with the Lord, wait and fellowship with the Lord, wait and be nourished and strengthened by the Lord.” Jesus told the disciples, “tarry in Jerusalem till you are endued with power (STRENGTH) from on high.” He was teaching them the importance of waiting. He applied it throughout His ministry. In today’s second scripture, He entered the temple and He saw the chaos and wickedness going on there, but HE DID NOT RUSH INTO ACTION! He went back home! That is WAITING ON THE LORD. He wanted to know what to do and how to do it, and He wanted to receive supernatural strength to do it. The following morning, He was loaded with so much boldness/ strength that He spoke to a fig tree (Verse 14) and the fig tree withered within twenty four hours (Mark 11:20,21). POWER! When He heard about the sickness of Lazarus (John 11), He did not rush immediately to Bethany to heal Lazarus; HE WAITED ON HIS FATHER! What You Do During Your Waiting Time Will Determine How Strong You Will Be In The Day Of Adversity! Hear this: Before Esther Attempted “Breaking” The Law Of The Land, She First Waited On The Lord With A Three-day Fast! Wow! As 2024 ends, DO NOTHING WITHOUT WAITING AND HEARING FROM GOD – And you will finish well because IRREVERSIBLE MISTAKES WILL RUN FROM YOUR ADDRESS! Amen! NO PROPHETIC PSALM?
