Vs. 10 of today’s scripture says: “Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.” Now, close your eyes for a while and imagine all the glory of the celestial city, called “heaven.” Imagine where God Almighty dwells and how joyful and blissful it would be! But is it not a shocker that the Word says there IS EXTRA JOY in heaven when a sinner repents? What will make heaven happy must be really wonderful and who will make heaven happy will be jealously preserved by heaven! That is why you must do all you can to make sure you load heaven with joy in 2025! Yes, you desire to seek more breakthroughs this year and you want every “RED SEA” to DIVIDE in your life and ministry, but determine to make heaven happy by winning souls and enlarging the kingdom. Now think of what you will do in your little way! LOOK FOR THE THINGS THAT EXCITE JEHOVAH GOD AND GO AFTER THEM! Look for souls to win! Go for village evangelism, invite someone to your local church this week, support your local church as led! Print gospel tracts! Give to missions and missionaries! Support this ODM vision as led (Be a monthly production partner – see page 29)! Buy a musical/sound system (gift) for the Manna Prayer Mountain! Invite Muslims to gospel dinners! Preach in your office! Use your break time to talk about Jesus! Solomon was not a fool to ask for how he could promote the kingdom! Make Heaven Happy Weekly, And Your Happiness Will Be Jealously Guarded By Heaven This Year! Pray now!

What a friend we have…

  1. Pray about the word as it has touched you.
  2. Repent from any way in which you have been nonchalant about
    evangelism.
  3. Miracle seekers – most people are no longer determined to work for
God. They want God to work for them. Repent now!
  4. It is a privilege for little “you” to make heaven happy! Ask for the
grace to send happiness to heaven this week (Pray it now).
  5. Lord, use me and make me a blessing to as many as I shall come
across today/this week in Jesus name.
  6. Lord, use me as an agent of happiness to Your kingdom. Use me to
    depopulate hell in Jesus name.
  7. Pray for missionaries today. Mention any of them by name!
  8. Pray any other prayer(s) as led now

🎵 “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” – Hymn Reflection

📜 Original Lyrics (Joseph M. Scriven, 1855)

  1. What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
    What a privilege to carry
    Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
    Everything to God in prayer!

  2. Have we trials and temptations?
    Is there trouble anywhere?
    We should never be discouraged—
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
    Jesus knows our every weakness—
Take it to the Lord in prayer!

  3. Are we weak and heavy-laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
    Precious Savior, still our refuge—
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
    In His arms He’ll take and shield thee;
Thou wilt find a solace there.

🙏 Devotional Thought (6th June 2025)

This timeless hymn echoes the friendship of David and Jonathan (1 Sam. 20) and Jesus’ heart for the lost (Luke 15). Just as Jonathan was a loyal friend to David, Jesus is the ultimate Friend who:

  • Bears our burdens (Matt. 11:28),

  • Listens to our prayers (Heb. 4:16),

  • Never forsakes us (Deut. 31:6).

💡 Ask Yourself:

  • Have I been trying to carry my worries alone?

  • Who needs to experience Jesus’ friendship through me today?

🔥 Prayer Response

“Jesus, thank You for being my truest Friend! Forgive me for relying on my strength instead of Your grace. Help me to bring every fear, sin, and need to You in prayer—and to be a ‘Jonathan’ to someone feeling lost. In Your name, Amen.”

🎶 Listen to This Hymn Today! Let its words remind you: You’re never alone.
