Daily Manna BASIC SCRIPTURE: 7 April 2024
Scripture: Acts 17:10-12 (NIV)
“10 As soon as it was night, the believers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue. 11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. 12 As a result, many of them believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men.”
Scripture: Proverbs 8:30-34 (NIV)
“30 Then I was constantly at his side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence, 31 rejoicing in his whole world and delighting in mankind.
32 “Now then, my children, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways. 33 Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not disregard it. 34 Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.”

Encouragement for April 7, 2024:
In Acts 17:10-12, we see the example of the Berean Jews who received the message with eagerness but also examined the Scriptures daily to confirm its truthfulness. This teaches us the importance of not only being receptive to God’s Word but also actively seeking to understand it and apply it to our lives.
Similarly, in Proverbs 8:30-34, wisdom is personified as calling out to humanity, urging them to listen and to be attentive. Those who heed wisdom’s call are blessed, for they will find true fulfillment and understanding in life.
As we journey through April 7, 2024, let us be like the Berean Jews, eagerly receiving God’s Word and diligently studying it to discern its truth. Let us also heed the call of wisdom, listening attentively and being wise in our actions and decisions.
May we find joy in the presence of the Lord, delighting in His wisdom and guidance each day. And may we be blessed as we walk in His ways, seeking His truth and living according to His Word.
