Winston Churchill, British statesman and author and war Prime Minister from 1940 – 1945 and 1951-1955 once said, “Politics is almost as exciting as war and quite as dangerous! In war, you can only be killed once, but in politics, many times. The greatest lesson in life is to know that even fools are right sometimes.” Wow! It’s tough to listen to others speak! But it is great to know that you can learn from nearly everyone, including a fool. Moses complained to God that he was slow to speech and that he had a slow tongue (Exodus 4:10). Moses didn’t know that as far as heaven was concerned, the ability to talk less and listen more was a wonderful asset! As 2025 ends, control your speech, and temperament as you step out daily! Slow down! Talk less! Put a weight/string on your tongue. Be swift (quick) in hearing! Be swift in loving! Be swift in giving/forgiving! Be swift in your job, but be slow to speech! Learn to listen more this week! God will speak and drop great secrets into your life concerning the remaining part of this year and the upcoming year 2026! Be attentive and alert to hear! Somebody you did not expect can be used to speak to you. The ‘donkeys’ can be used to speak to you! Never forget that the best gift ever revealed to this world was wrapped in a manger. See beyond the donkey! See beyond height, colour, academics, etc. God can use anything/anyone to speak. Listen! Listen and watch! You will end 2025 with a roaring testimony in Jesus name!
