Electric cars (All-electric vehicles), also known as battery electric vehicles (BEV), are automobiles which are propelled by electric motors using energy stored in batteries. They do not have internal combustion engines which we find in conventional cars, so they do not use diesel or petrol, have no exhaust emissions and are quieter. Over 28 million of BEVs were sold in 2022, globally. There was a competition for which company would make the first version of BEV pickup. To the surprise of people in the auto industry, on the 14thof September, 2021, RIVIAN (an auto-maker) beat everyone to the race by putting the first electric pickup into the hands of customers. The founder and CEO, RJ Scaringe tweeted on that day, “After months of building pre-production vehicles, this morning our first customer vehicle drove off our production line.” The first Rivian built for a customer was an R1T pickup. It drove off the production line surrounded by cheering and masked workers at the company’s plant in Normal, Illinois, United States. RIVIAN beat the three big American automakers; Ford, General Motors (makers of Hummer) and Tesla to the shock of the auto industry. At the end of the day, it was not a Ford, Tesla or Hummer. It was a RIVIAN. Life is not by might or power! It is not who starts first or who is popular now! If you HOLD ON no matter your battles, you will OVERTAKE!WATCH HOW YOU RUN YOUR CHRISTIAN RACE THIS YEAR! The race is not to the swift but by MERCY (Eccl. 9: 11) ! From today’s scripture Vs. 12, not only will there be some who will turn away, but THE LORD said that, “the love of MANY will grow cold” due to the increase of iniquity (end time economic difficulties/wickedness). Note the word “MANY” ; the implication is that those who “stand firm to the end” will be the minority! Please be among them!
