Welcome to this month of MERCY! Vs. 2 of today’s scripture says: “And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was afterward an hungred.” That means Jesus was hungry and that is what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional: WHEN YOU FAST, YOU WILL GET HUNGRY! In any kind of fast, the devil will “fight” you for the first three days. This is how long it takes for the body to lose most of its hunger. Your body becomes however liberated after three days of fasting. Anytime you fast, the devil will come to tell you: “Why all this suffering? You are uncomfortable! Give your body some comfort and you can still pray very well even without fasting. God will understand.” ALWAYS REMIND THE DEVIL OF MATTHEW 17: 21: “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” Note the words: “THIS KIND.” I call it, “THE LAW OF KINDS” in life’s battles! That means there are some KINDS of pregnancies that can only respond to prayer and fasting! That means there are some KINDS of financial promotions, connection to your life partner, ministry growth, political favour, career upliftment, academic advancement, divine healings, etc, that can only respond to prayer and fasting. That means: There Are Different Kinds Of Breakthroughs But How Do You Know The Category Of Yours? That is why you must not give in to the lies of hunger even in the 2025 UPCOMING July 14-day worldwide fasting programme to settle the 2nd half of the year! The pain of hunger you feel is the only proof of how strong your flesh has become. If you endure the hunger, your body becomes liberated after three days of fasting and then your spirit becomes free to “rule” the works of hell and reach into heaven to effortlessly pull out every blessing belonging to you! ABUNDANT MERCY to my life, family and ministry! - I shall testify! I shall testify! I shall testify in 2025 in Jesus name.
