Topic: AVOID THE “IFs” and “BUTs”
BASIC SCRIPTURE:
LAMENTATIONS 3:17-26
I remember that it was Amy Winehouse who quipped that: “Life’s short. Anything could happen, and it usually does, so there is no point in sitting around thinking about all the ifs, ands and buts.” So true! Indeed, if “ifs” and “buts” were candy and nuts, then we’d never go hungry! As 2025 moves on like a fading cloud, never allow the fear of “IFs” or the excuse of “BUTs” to stop you from dreaming! However, there are inspirational “IFs” of thanksgiving which you must consider in the lines below: “What if God couldn’t take the time to bless us today because we could not take the time to thank Him yesterday? What if God decided to stop leading us tomorrow because we did not follow Him today? What if we never saw another flower bloom because we complained when God sent the rain? What if God took away His Bible tomorrow because we would not read it today? What if God stopped loving and caring for us because we failed to love and care for others? What if God wouldn’t hear us today, because we did not listen to Him yesterday? What if the door of the church was closed like during the COVID-19 lockdown, because we did not open the door of our hearts? What if God didn’t walk with us today because we fail to recognize it as His day? What if God took away His Message because we failed to listen to the messenger? What if…? What if…? What if…? The list of questions can go on and on! But the emphasis is that no matter how this year has been, God is a good God to you and you must be thankful! RUN FROM EXCUSES! Despite our shortcomings and unfaithfulness daily, God is faithful (2 Timothy 2:13)! Determine to love Him, trust Him and live in obedience the more! HE IS FAITHFUL! Hold on!

courageous as I run the race of life! I shall take FEARLESS steps
of faith and I shall never end in shame! - Pray for those in jail houses in your country! Pray for job seekers
today! Loose new jobs!
