TOPIC: SHE DIVORCED 5 TIMES BEFORE HER SUPER STORY!
BASIC SCRIPTURES: OBADIAH 17; JOHN 4:1-18
Welcome to today’s devotional! As you go out today, the Holy Ghost is sending a warning to you and specifically to about 124, 120 ODM users to know that Satan can “HURRY” you to your land of “HAD-I-KNOWN” – REGRETS! REGRETS! REGRETS! Disappoint him! Satan can perform miracles and attract miracle hustlers! Refuse to be a MIRACLE HUSTLER! Today’s 2nd scripture vs. 4 says: “And he must needs go through Samaria.” Going through SAMARIA was strange to the natural carnal mind because SAMARIA was a longer route to Galilee and it was also a hostile territory! It was a region where Jews and Samaritans had a history of animosity/ bitterness! But note the word: “MUST!” That is a word of PURPOSE AND DESTINY; it shows that, that journey was DIVINELY COMPULSORY and it was destined to fulfil a particular purpose – meeting the woman who had married/ divorced 5 times! Do You Know That There Are Some Tough Experiences/Trials You Must Pass Through? They have been designed by God FOR A HIGHER PURPOSE which you are not allowed to understand now! Note that there was a shorter route but Jesus went through the longer route! Do you also know that vs. 6 says: “…Jesus therefore, being wearied with His journey, sat thus on the well…” Yes! The Longer Route Made Him Very Tired – Very Weary But He Needed To Go Through It In Order For The Lady To Break Through From Reoccurring battles/failures/shame! Wow! That is why you must never give up! There are things destined for you to pass through in order for you to fulfil destiny! Before I discovered this ODM vision, I went through 9 INCREDIBLE YEARS of pain, failure, betrayal, desertion and I attempted suicide! Oh, no wonder Charles Spurgeon scribbled: “Beware of those who preach comfort without challenge.” Robert Frost shouted one day: “The best way out is always through!” I see God settling you very soon in your Promised Land! Never forget: In life, there are no shortcuts! For success there is no fast lane!
