A REAR MIRROR is a mirror that allows a driver to see what is happening behind his car. As you drive, dwelling on the REAR MIRROR can kill you and hundreds on the road. It will turn you into a casualty of life. You have heard the saying, “Those who cannot remember the past are doomed to repeat it.” That’s true-but it’s only part of the story. THE PAST IS NOT THE END OF YOUR STORY! Yes! You can learn a lot by looking at your past – but you can’t heal the most costly wounds in your life by focusing only on your past! No matter how 2024 has been, you must determine to look ahead! Too often we try to find healing by looking in our rearview mirrors. When you do that, YOU BECOME THE GREATEST ACCIDENT STORY OF YOUR GENERATION! In Job 11, Job’s friends told him of how to get rid of painful memories and move on with his life. They said in Verses 13 and 16: ”If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him…thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away.” They were saying (paraphrased): “IF YOU LOOK TO GOD CONCERNING YOUR PAST PAIN, THEN GOD WILL DO A THING THAT WILL MAKE YOU TO FORGET YOUR PAST MEMORIES AND MAKE YOU SECURE!” Ah! RECEIVE HEALING FOR EVERY PAIN AND RESTORATION FOR EVERY REGRET NOW!!! You shall have DOUBLE OIL for all your past TROUBLES! You shall RECOVER all that you lost or was taken from you! The enemy shall VOMIT all they took from you and they shall SUBMIT BY FORCE! Your life cannot end in shame! Your past may have been sweet or bitter but there is a TOMORROW OF HOPE, full of RAINBOWS of many colours! The Lord SAYS TO SOMEONE NOW: “The best of your life and the many chapters of your destiny are yet to begin! Stop the depression, self-pity and self-hate! Don’t compare yourself to others!
