There was a young man Lucas, whom the Lord called at the age of 2l, to preach the gospel to his fellow villagers and the surrounding communities! Just like God told Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:5), He promised to back him up! Like Joshua, he was encouraged to be courageous. Despite such wonderful promises, there was no result for the first few years except one convert who became his interpreter. You must learn a lesson on patience – Remember the amazing story of Reinhard Bonnke? He was once disppointed at a crusade by the guest minister and that was how he took the microphone to preach! The rest is history! From that night, the miraculous began concerning his ministry! Also, even though God told Abraham he would be the father of many nations, he did not have Isaac till 25 years had elapsed! Dear child of God, never give up on your Father! I call Him, “The Omniscient Calendar of the Omnipotent God.” That is because His calendar is not and cannot be your calendar. His programme cannot be frustrated concerning you because He declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:9-10). Back to our lead story: the villagers did everything to fight and stop Lucas, but they could not! Then one day, the Lord by the Holy Spirit, instructed him to go to a forest near the village around 2am. He woke his interpreter and they went to the forest. There, he saw great men of substance and exotic cars parked along the road and saw a strong demonic entity (a woman with very long breasts), sitting in their midst. The men were worshipping the woman. Immediately she saw Lucas, she became extremely angry. Then the brother started praying vigorously. As he called the name of Jesus, the evil meeting scattered. He continued praying and calling on the thunder and fire of God to strike! Then all the men ran into their cars and sped off. The village head tried to resist Lucas the following day because he knew what had happened in the spirit realm. The village yoke was broken and thereafter, the gospel took over! Men began to ask as in the days of old, “What must I do to be saved?” God can use your life to turn your school, office, village or community, etc, around if you will allow Him, no matter how busy you are! Become a battle-axe in His Hands – Jeremiah 51:20. Become a pencil in God’s Hands! Be a prayer warrior! Work with God on your knees. Stop procrastinating in PRAYER! Work with God with your lifestyle!
