The devil’s key mission is to inject sorrow, pain and bitterness into anything he touches. If he can’t stop you from calling upon the name of the Lord, he will try and stop you from holding on until you see the victory that you desire. The key is this: START AND DON’T QUIT! That’s what Jairus did. He started, and he refused to quit. Think about it: when that woman was telling Jesus the story of all that she had gone through, what was going through the mind of Jairus? Hear what Verse 47 says, ‘she declared unto Him before all the people for what cause she had touched Him, and how she was healed immediately.’ IT WAS NOT A SHORT TESTIMONY! It was a long one! She told Jesus all that she had gone through. From one story to another. Yet, it seemed as if God had put Jairus’ testimony on a pause! But no! Jesus was delayed so long that Jairus’ daughter died. EMBARRASSMENT! Jairus heard the news and he was devastated. In Verse 49, they told him, “Your daughter is dead, DON’T TROUBLE THE MASTER ANYMORE.” He thought the worst had happened, but immediately, the LORD JESUS, THE ONE WHO HOLDS THE KEY OF DEATH AND HELL, stepped into the scene. He told Jairus, “Fear not, only believe, and she shall be made whole.” If the devil cannot inject fear into you, HIS PACKAGE OF EMBARRASSMENT WILL BE DESTROYED THIS YEAR! It’s time to reject and resist every fear! It’s time to say “NO” to every NEGATIVE DELAY. Hold fast to your God and keep on following Him. He cannot be defeated. He cannot lose. And if He cannot be defeated, then, your victory is sure!

BY FIRE, NOW, in Jesus name. - Lord, let Your mercy exempt me from every loss, in Jesus
name.
