I met a young man the other day who said to me, “Sir, the day I stopped taking, I started giving.” I asked what he meant by that. He went ahead and said “I used to go about looking for the next uncle or aunt that will help my condition. But one day I read a verse that said “blessed is the one that giveth, than the one that takes.” From that day onward, I realized that I had been making those who already had to have more. They have been taking from me by giving me! But when I started to give, I started to have even more to offer. Sir, the good part of giving is that you don’t need a lot to give a little.” I was shocked. Take note of the part that said, “you don’t need a lot to give a little.” People want to always use the excuse of, “I don’t have” not to give! Hear me, you don’t need a lot! Our 2nd Basic Scripture talks about the widow who gave the least, but was enough to gain God’s attention. God responds to giving! In 2025, every chance you have, give! 2 Corinthians 8:12 (NIV) says, “For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has.” When you give out of your few, you tap into God’s GRACE! He shines His MERCY ON YOU! Francis of Assisi penned: “For it is in giving that we receive.” Be an ODM production monthly partner! See page 29 of this booklet!
