One of the secrets of peace and a balanced life of steady progress is consistency! You must keep doing small things regularly and faithfully, in order to ignite their increase. The key to a shining life is to be regularly faithful in the small but daily things of life. Praying for 40 minutes a day regularly, is more powerful than declaring a fast and praying for 40 days and 40 nights only when there is a crisis! Reading the Word (The Bible) daily and listening to the WORD regularly, is more powerful than sitting down to memorize the whole of Psalms during crisis! We have always said in this devotional that: It is the armour you know how to use daily that will save you in the day of battle! That was why David could not use Saul’s armour. Lots of believers are not consistent! A study conducted by Dr. Klaas Westerterp for example, indicated that regular (frequent) modest exercise is better in boosting (promoting) the body’s metabolism than intense, aggressive exercises once in a while. The results shows that rather than a person trying to balance out phases of inactivity with sessions of extreme exercises once in a while, it is better to practice increased, small, physical activities in everyday life! Activities, such as alternate sitting and standing, with moderate activities like walking or cycling regularly are more effective than carrying a concrete block once in three months. Pay your tithes and give regularly. It will increase your life, than giving “big money” once in a while. That’s not the key to increase, prosperity and peace. Preach regularly. Do a daily, deliverance check-up. Fast and pray weekly and receive this prophetic word: Consistency ( regularity) may be painful for now, but it will cause your star never to dim. Read Proverbs 16:8 and 24:33. There are times when, just the ordinary stones you use daily, will be more powerful than a nuclear bomb in killing your Goliath. Pray now!
