HOLD ON! It was D.L. Moody who penned, “No demon negotiates with slumber; but they flee from fire-filled prayers.” Yes! In case you did not understand, no demon is threatened by how well you sleep or slumber, but how much fire your prayer carries! There are too many lazy believers out there! NOBODY IS COMING TO SAVE YOU IF YOU KEEP SLEEPING! While you are hugging your pillow, others are hugging their destinies! Jacob rose at night, not to change sleeping position or area, but to wrestle with an angel and demand his blessing. You read yesterday how a slave by the name Robert Smalls took a warship and re-wrote his destiny at night. What if he had slept off? What if he had said, “One day I will be free, maybe not this night?” He would have died as a slave! Judges 7: 9 says: “That same night the Lord said to him, ‘Arise…” If Gideon had slept, he would have missed that divine instruction. Hear me: Your night is your fight! Prayers are not optional in this war zone! ENOUGH OF SLEEPING IN EXCESS as 2025 ends and 2026 begins! Ah!
