I saw this poster somewhere: “If You Woke Up Today With The Things You Thanked God For Yesterday, What Will Your Life Look Like Today?” In other words, if you did not thank God for anything yesterday, then you would wake up today with NOTHING! As 2025 runs on like the fading northern star, take time to THINK AND PRAISE! Thomas Merton once said, “To be grateful is to recognize the love of God in everything. He has given us everything! Every breath we draw is a gift of His love, every moment of existence is a grace, for it brings with it immense graces from Him.” No wonder David declared in today’s scripture, “I will bless the Lord at all times, His praises shall continually be in my mouth.” Note: At All Times! At All Times! At All Times! Wow! In other words, you don’t have to wait until that breakthrough or expectation to manifest before you start to praise the LORD! The secret of David was, “AT ALL TIMES!” Praise Him in the rain! Praise Him in the sunshine! Praise Him in the storm or delay season and praise Him in the RAINBOW season! God’s praise in your mouth is God’s POISON against the gates of hell! Lift up your voice NOW and praise Him! You will NEVER end in DISGRACE and you will end this year in PRAISE!
