Welcome to another meditation hour! Lots of people lose their health trying to become wealthy and later lose their wealth trying to get back their health! As a child of God, you must avoid this demonic trap! Heaven is today strongly drawing your attention to the power and secret of contentment! Ah! Catch this: It is good to have money and the things money can buy, but it is better to regularly make sure that you do not lose the things money cannot buy! Money is a universal provider of everything except happiness. Be reminded again that: Money can buy a bed, but not sleep. Money can buy delicious food, but not appetite! Do you know that there are thousands in the hospitals who cannot eat? Money can buy a mansion, but not peace and security! Money can buy friends, but not their faithfulness and loyalty! Money can buy a good certificate, but not a brain! Money can buy medicine, but not healing! God is the healer! Doctors/Pharmacists die too! Money can buy a good life insurance policy, but not a long life! Therefore,pursue contentment at whatever level you are! Never pursue money to the detriment of your daily quiet time, your weekly local church fellowship or your Christian integrity. Luke: 12:15 says, “…A man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.” Did you get that? Contentment is when your earning power equals your yearning power! When you can think of yesterday without regret and tomorrow without fear or anxiety, then you are near real contentment. Refuse to worry about what you don’t have! John Ray did say, “Diseases are the taxes we pay on uncontrolled pleasures.” As 2025 ends, dwell in contentment! As long as there is life, there is hope! Godliness with contentment is a secret of successful people! Seek it daily because money cannot buy everything!
