TOPIC: THE CHICAGO TO MYRTLE BEACH FLIGHT: TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR INSTINCTS – I

In the summer of 2019 (precisely June 23), a 22-year-old woman boarded a flight from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in the United States of America. In that flight was 29-year- old Siva Durbusela, who was originally an Indian. The 22-year-old woman sat next to Durbusela in the plane.Midway in the flight, Durbusela lost his composure as a man. He forcefully pulled the 22- year-old woman towards himself and began to grope (to touch someone’s body in order to get sexual pleasure, usually when the person does not like it) her repeatedly. When the matter was taken to court, records showed that the flight crew intervened and moved Durbusela away from the woman. Despite that, he still insisted that he should be returned back to his seat so he could to talk to her. During his trial in court,a second witness testified that on March 21, 2019, Durbusela pinned her into the corner on a New York City subway train and groped her. The victim in the subway incident recorded Durbusela as he exited the train. This helped the police to identify him. The Federal Judge in North Carolina handed the man the statutory maximum term for the offence after he was convicted by a jury of abusive sexual contact aboard an airplane. The judge noted that the repeated sexual misconduct of the defendant over a short period of time required the maximum statutory punishment in order to promote respect for the law. The young man had evidence against him and he was jailed in a human court! But how about you? WHAT IS THAT HABIT THAT CAN JAIL YOU IN HELL FOR ETERNITY? Today’s scripture Verses 25 and 27 talks about DISCIPLINE, SELF-CONTROL AND SELF-TRAINING (temperate in all things). Go and do likewise in 2024 otherwise after preaching to others, you can end up in the furnace that burns without mercy! God forbid! Pray now!
