Remember the man who died at sea in yesterday’s devotional! The man in Today’s scripture CLICK HERE TO BASIC SCRIPTURE who had been possessed by many demons whom Jesus had healed and restored, wanted to probably stay with Jesus to worship Him in appreciation for what He had done, but Jesus charged him saying, “Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you” (see Vs. 38-39). Wow! When it comes to the gospel, nothing is too big or too small to talk about. Hear this: “To the work! To the work! Let the hungry be fed; To the fountain of life let the weary be led; In the cross and its banner our glory shall be, While we herald the tidings, ‘Salvation is free!” (Crosby). There is no wrong place to tell someone about Jesus, anywhere and everywhere is the right place! Charles Spurgeon said: “It must not be tolerated that Christ should be unknown through our silence, and sinners unwarned through our negligence.” He also quipped: “When a man has been in the fire and has the smell of it still upon him, he is the one to warn others not to meddle with fire.” As 2024 ends, NEVER POSTPONE A DIVINE URGE TO PREACH THE GOSPEL EVEN TO CHURCH GOERS!
