Psalm 36:5 says: “Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and Thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.” Glory to God! Today’s devotional emphasis is on the word: “FAITHFULNESS.” Faithfulness is the word used to describe how trustworthy, reliable, truthful, stable and steady God is. No matter what you are passing through, always remember that GOD IS FAITHFUL! Yes! He doesn’t need anything outside of Himself and doesn’t need to look up to anything or anyone to have anything or become anything! He is the SELF-EXISTENT GOD, and He is God all by Himself. Nobody crowned Him and nobody can dethrone Him! He is the Author, Finisher and Perfecter of our faith. That means without Him, your faith is useless because it will have no basis for expression! The FAITH – FULLNESS of God suggests that it is boundless, limitless, unprecedented, incredible, unmatchable and unbeatable by any spiritual or physical force! His Word is the foundation of His faithfulness and His faithfulness is rooted in His Word! 1 Samuel 15:29 says – “…the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for He is not a man, that He should repent.” So hold on and hold out! You will not see SHAME because HE IS TOO FAITHFUL TO FAIL!
