Many months ago, the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) of the UK, confirmed that a body was recovered from the wreckage of the crashed plane that was carrying the international footballer – Emiliano Sala and his pilot David Ibbotson. The agency, however, did not disclose the identity of the body. AAIB said in a statement that the body was “successfully recovered”, but attempts to recover the aircraft wreckage were unsuccessful. The overall operation was brought to an end, due to “poor weather conditions. Remember that Sala was flying from Nantes in France to make his first appearance for the Premier League team, Cardiff City in Wales, UK, when the plane disappeared over the English Channel.
