ODM TOPIC: PRESERVE YOUR PEACE: CONQUER ANXIETY!
Everybody goes through stress and anxiety (worry) at one time or the other; even Jesus did. On one occasion, He had to pray for hours to enable Him overcome fear, worry and anxiety (At the GETHSEMANE GARDEN; Matthew 14:23, Luke 6:12). That means in this 2nd half of 2025, how you handle seasons of anxiety is what you should discover. Prayer is one secret of winning over anxiety, ESPECIALLY PRAYING IN TONGUES WHEN YOU ARE DOWN, DISTRESSED AND DEPRESSED! On the night before Jesus’ death, His distress grew beyond human explanation. You may have been through stress in the past or presently. Look at Jesus’ reaction. Crying? No! Taking drugs/alcohol? No! Running from church to church? No! Luke 22:44 says: “And being in an agony, He prayed more earnestly.” Wow! He did not run around pastors more earnestly! He did not worry more earnestly! He did not regret being a Christian more earnestly! He did not secretly envy others, more earnestly! He prayed! He prayed! He prayed more earnestly! Yes, as perfect as Jesus was (is), He did not just pray weak and lazy prayers (as most of us will do when discouraged), but He prayed more earnestly! Note the 2 words: “More Earnestly.” In this 2nd half of 2025, apply them daily to your prayer life when anxiety, pain or distress fills your soul. 1 Peter 5:7 says: “Casting (throwing) all your cares (worries) upon Him for He careth for you.” Earnest and regular prayer will help preserve your peace in the midst of our end-time battles with the gates of hell! Allow no demon to steal your peace! Preserve it as you go out today and always! Don’t forget the secret: Pray more earnestly – even in TONGUES when your soul is cast down! Peace!
