It was Charles Spurgeon who said, “Open your heart and let Jesus step in; He will never leave you empty.” Never! Our God is too loaded to leave you wanting. Hear me: A life surrendered to Christ is a life overflowing with divine sufficiency! Remember John 2:1-2; the Bible records that a wedding feast was in full swing – laughter, dancing, and joy filled the air. But suddenly, disaster loomed: the wine had run out! What a shame it would have been before the governor and the entire city! Yet, there was hope because of a single act of the celebrant. They invited Jesus! Yes! And the shame the devil had planted for them, was uprooted and torched. Right there and then, Jesus performed His first miracle, turning water into wine and saving the couple from disgrace. Oh Beloved, when Jesus is present, He turns lack into abundance and shame into honor. But be warned! His presence alone is not enough—you must learn to keep and obey His Word. John 2:5 says, “His mother saith unto the servants, ‘Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it” This is where the secret to victory in God dwells in this 2nd half of the year! Strict obedience! In John 14:23, Jesus proclaimed, “If anyone loves Me, he will obey My teaching.” There is no other way to it. Andrew Murray reminds us, “God is ready to assume full responsibility for the life wholly yielded to Him.” Not part responsibility, FULL! Now is the time to yield it all to Him. Leave that SECRET SIN! Then invite Him and hand over that situation to Him! You will see His FINGER in action! Devotional ODM TODAY 4th August 2025
