When you make up your mind to stop doing something, you can be sure that soon and very soon, your feelings will fight back. As a pharmacist, I am well familiar with what we (medical personnel)call “WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS.”These are things that an individual feels when he/she withdraws from certain negative habits or addictions.
These feelings will put that person
under pressure to return to that addiction. It’s particularly common among those who are addicted to smoking, alcohol and certain narcotic drugs.
The Spirit of God is speaking to a user of today’s devotional: “Don’t Let The Storms Drive You Back To Where You’re Coming From. Don’t Let Those ‘Withdrawal Symptoms’ Drive You Back To The Land Of Captivity.
As 2023 Ends, When The Storms Come, Stand Strong! Stay Stable. Don’t Give Up! Hold On And Hold Out! God’s grace is available to you! Hear this: When the storm rips you to pieces, you get to decide how to put yourself back together again! Sometimes the greatest storms bring out the greatest beauty! Yes!
