BASIC SCRIPTURE: MARK 9: 41-50
41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.
50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Do you remember the story of Aron Ralston from last year? Aron Ralston loved the outdoors, hiking, and trekking in the mountains. Last May, he was hiking alone when a boulder fell and pinned him by the arm. For five days, he waited for rescue. Then facing dehydration and death, he took an incredible decision. He took a pocket knife and slowly amputated his own arm, freeing him and allowing him to hike out to safety Wow! HE CUT OFF HIS OWN HAND IN ORDER TO BE ALIVE What would it take to come to a decision like that? How desperate would you have to be to cut off a member of your own body? Would you turn to that solution quickly, or would you first explore every other possibility? As a pharmacist, I know that only when faced with death would a man do Such a thing! The Holy Ghost wants You to cut off ANYTHING, HABIT OR ANY PERSON that can take you to hell! So should be divorce! It is a desperate act, an act of self-mutilation. It is the amputation of a part of ourselves. We should resort to it only in extreme circumstances such as unfaithfulness, adultry or extreme desertion. Today’s scripture, Mark 9: 43 says “And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched. VS. 4 “And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Vs 47-“And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.” ODM 29 December 2020
As 2020 ends, determine to CUT OFF SOME THINGS AND SOME PEOPLE! Life is short. Don’t waste lt with negative people who don’t appreciate you! Keep them in your heart, but KEEP THEM OUT OF YOUR LIFE! You must delete some people from your phone Contacts Until you let go of all the toxic people in your life, you will never be able to grow into your fullest potential. Let them go, so you can grow! Hear Don Bolena Jr.: “Sometimes there are things in life that aren’t meant to stay. Sometimes change may not be what we want. Sometimes change is what we need.” Did you get that? This is your “CUT OFF SEASON” EVEN IF IT IS PAINFUL! The best way to move forward is to let go of that secret sin, evil habit or the people holding you back!
