Welcome to today’s devotional with the God who uses the weak and frail things of this world to confound the mighty! Yes, He put His DIVINE nature in dust and the dust became His image. Vs. 7 of today’s Word says: “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” Oh! Take note of the words: “THIS TREASURE IN EARTHEN VESSELS!” A Treasure is something special and precious. It is an endowment which God has deposited in frail, human and ordinary vessels. Then 2 Timothy 2:20 affirms: “But in a great house there are… Vessels…”! You are the spiritual house and temple of God. You are His VESSEL on earth and He has loaded you with treasures to enable you live the God life. So, you have THIS TREASURE – The Divine Light of the gospel, salvation, faith, the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, the power of God, spiritual blessings and the anointing of the Holy Spirit in you. Glory to God! What the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is: “THERE IS TREASURE IN YOU!” Yes, yes, yes! You are not empty, you are loaded! You are not weak, you are strong! Not a failure but a success, not defeated but victorious! 2 Peter 1:3-4 reveals: “According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” Ah! You are God’s TREASURE HOUSE! YOU are God’s beauty! You are God’s manifestation! You are God’s POWER SHOW, and the world must see the treasure in you this year and beyond! You are not a FAILURE STORY OR A SHAMEFUL ending in Jesus name! Amen and amen! THE NEXT ODM IS OUT!
