I am led to use the story of the Lebanon Walkie Talkies/ Pagers’ explosion in today’s devotional again! The Holy Ghost wants you to know that: WHAT YOU DO IN SECRET is crucial in 2025! Be reminded that in mid-September last year 2024, the Israeli military carried out a covert operation by secretly embedding small explosives into the pagers distributed to Hezbollah terrorists! When a specific SMS (text message) was sent, the pagers exploded! It was a sorry sight seeing able-bodied terrorists weeping on the streets from the devastation! How did the Israelis manage such a sophisticated attack? They targeted the source – before the pagers even reached the fighters. They had done the damage in secret, to win an easy war in the open! Matthew 17:19 talks about the disciples trying their best to cast out a demon-possessed child but they could not until Jesus came and did it with ease. The disciples were wondering how Jesus did it. And Jesus said to them, “… this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting”(verse 21). Jesus won an easy battle in the open because in secret, He had laid the ground for His victory through prayer and fasting. The secret battle is the real battle! W. H.
