Lying in the bath one Saturday, John Shepherd-Barron was lamenting the fact that he had missed bank closing time and so could withdraw no cash until Monday. It gave him an idea. Over lunch with the head of Barclays Bank, he pitched his idea of an automated teller machine, like a chocolate vending machine, that would dispense cash 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The original plan for a six-digit personal identification number for the machine was ditched after his wife complained that it was “too many numbers to remember,” so four digits became standard. There are now more than 60,000 cash machines in the UK alone, with almost £3 billion dispensed a year, but Shepherd-Barron never patented his invention – after worries that thieves might read the patent and be able to crack people’s identification numbers. But this was done later! Oh! The Holy Ghost wants you to NEVER FORGET that many times, DISAPPOINTMENTS ARE THE FATHERS OF MIRACLES! Without a major rejection/disappointment in my life, I would not have discovered this ODM vision! Listen: Stop crying because soemone left you! Stop crying because you were betrayed! As I write tonight (3.02am), I am hearing that a great door is about to open for you! Just imagine that the ATM machine was invented from a disappointment! Ah! Today’s Word says Peter would not have achieved a net-breaking catch if he had not been disappointed all night. He was washing his net in pain/shame because he was imagining what he would tell his wife – no catch, no money, etc. I decree: FROM WASHING YOUR NET , you will be WASHING (wiping) YOUR TEARS OF JOY VERY, VERY, SOON! Watch out! HOLD ON AND HOLD OUT because something new is about to happen! Amen and amen!
