In the school of Mathematics, there is what is called the “Angle of Elevation and Depression.” When you are in the depression zone, you don’t see wider because of your position. And because your sight is limited, you will see and interpret things differently. Hence, your position will influence and affect your vision, which will in turn determine your viewpoint! An angle of elevation gives you a general outlook of things as they are. It gives you a clearer picture from a better standpoint, which helps your interpretation, judgment and better decision-making. As you journey through life, avoid the “Depression Zone!” The “Depression Zone of Life” is a killer of dreams and visions of men. Don’t take or make any decision from or in the depression zone because it is a recipe for regrets. In the game of football, coaches are heavily paid because the rise and fall of any football team depends on them. No matter how good an individual player is, he can’t have a better and clearer picture of the game if he is in the field of play. Also, individual brilliance without team play is equal to wasted effort. It takes a coach who watches the game from a better standpoint to better understand, interpret the game and deploy the needed technique, strategy and changes that will turn things around in his club’s favour! So also is your God! He is the COACH that sees the end from the beginning (today’s scripture Vs. 10). HE SEES WHAT YOU CANNOT SEE! So, no matter the matter, JUST HOLD ON (To be continued tomorrow).
