A couple was getting married. The preacher who was officiating, called the couple to the altar to perform their wedding vows. Before that, he declared “If anyone opposes this marriage, let them come forward!” Suddenly, a pregnant woman holding a small child began walking towards the front. The bride, shocked and furious, slapped the groom, accusing him of betrayal, and tore his clothes after which she stormed out. The audience was stunned, murmuring as they followed her out. When the woman with the child reached the front, she simply sat down. The preacher, confused, asked her what was wrong. She replied, “Oh, nothing! I am hard at hearing and couldn’t hear from the back, so I moved up front.” Wow! No wonder the Bible also says in Proverbs 14:29 “Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.” It is better to ignore at times than to have half truth. Do not allow hasty decisions to lure you into hasty destruction. Take your time to get the whole truth. This year, 2025, determine to learn the whole truth before passing judgment on any situation! George Bernard Shaw said, “Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance.” Wow! FALSE KNOWLEDGE IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN IGNORANCE! Never forget that this year! Most times, it is better not to know, than know half of the whole truth! Half truth is the most dangerous kind of knowledge!1 Corinthians 8:2 says, “Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know.” The verse says the first part of their knowledge is thinking that they know!
